Actively renovating vintage campers worthy of a Second Chance. Customize to a theme of your liking…whether it’s angling, wrangling, or simply travelling...
It began with Lucille - a Mobile Scout abandoned in La Junta, Colorado.
Because we had such a "Ball" restoring Lucille, we decided to start a business just for camper restoration – hence, Second Chance Campers was born. A few months after Lucille was returned to the road, and was very well received, we went looking for more. Lucille was a good testing ground as we learned quite a bit; where to buy tanks, siding, hardware, and flooring etc. – all of that information is being poured into our three new projects.
RENOVATE RESTORE UPDATE
"I originally came from Texas, and in 1963 found my way to the Soil Conservation District, Department of Agriculture. I spent my life in the woods, which wasn't so bad, but I was left as a very plain camper. No plumbing, electricity, beds, cabinets, curtains. All the things a Camper Trailer should have. Happily I am fully fitted now - it only took half a century to be rediscovered and given a second chance! "
